  Jack Astor's is always a great place to get good food. Our waitress Dianne was friendly and efficient. We had a bit of everything from the menu including a huge burger, buffalo chicken fingers, and a New York steak. The medium sauce on the buffalo chicken was a bit on the hot side but really flavourful and the chicken was juicy. The steak was done perfectly. My only negative comment is that I found it too tacky that they wrote our time of arrival in crayon on the paper covering the table. Sure, Jack Astor's is casual family dining, not fine dining; and sure, they encourage customers to scribble with crayons on this paper. But writing a customer's time of arrival on the table was a bit too tacky for me. Instead of feeling relaxed, I expect this behaviour causes customers to feel rushed.

  Come here often. Nachos were disappointing. Had more plan chips then topped chips. Specifically asked for fully loaded. No good.

  My crunchy chicken sandwich had no cheese in it, no flavour outside of the spice thrown at it and truly was disappointing. The coffee was bitter. I will not return. The waitress was not interested. Even a pleasant smile would have lifted the pain of a 50 bill for poor food. Avoid the place!

  We just spent our be-lated Valentines dinner at Jack Astors, and let me tell you!, the food was amazing!!!...hats off to the Chef!!...as for the server.. Where do I start? Sarena, was awesome!! She was helpful in suggesting what to order, she smiled the whole time and she genually treated us like her guest......We've been here before and each time the service was amazing...we never waited to be seated, we didn't wait to be served nor did the server become annoying. Kelly was our server we had before Christmas and again great service. Im not sure if these reviews ever get read, but if it does....you must go to Jack Astors. I highly recommend it....and people remember one thing....they are there to server you not to be your servant, so be nice...
