  Great place to do all your shopping all under one roof. However; when I go there at Christmas time to buy a large quantity of can foods, pancake mix, hamburger helper, and stuffing for our churches food hamper program that helps needy families, the staff and management team gives me a rough time. In 2016, a manager actually at first said that they would not allow me to buy all that I wanted to for charity. Keep in mind I didn't take all of the items on their shelves. There was still plenty of product on the shelves for other patrons to buy. After arguing with the manager, she finally relented but it sure took away from my joy of buying these items for those in need. Shame on you Walmart for being rude and illogical towards people who wish to bless others buy purchasing items that gets placed in boxes and delivered to families in need of these items during the holiday season of love and caring. Its too bad Walmart' staff and management at the Upper James location doesn't know the meaning of Christmas.

  I love you his place they always have what your looking for! Best Walmart except the lady who is supposed to work on the clothing!! Where the f**k were you?? Alley the cashier is awesome!! Thanks

  Small compared to other Walmarts around the area. But good customer service. Not a very busy place, so parking is always available

  Very busy place; look like business is ok they do not worry about customer satisfacation. Pharmacy charge the highest dispencing rate;
