  I recommend highly this hospital for any emergency your children may have. Just be prepared with some snacks and everything else is taken care of. Thank you to all the staff we encountered today....I believe the nurses name was Margo.

  I took my daughter to children's emergency today. I was helped by a very kind man in the parking garage and as we walked to the elevators every attendant we passed was super friendly. Walking up the hall to the registration desk we were instantly greeted by the nicest gentleman

  She and I could both finally breath a sigh of relief, and my daughter got to go home with a popsicle! Fabulous staff, and fabulous facilities, always clean and the people are so nice. They understand and don't diminish the concerns of the parents for their children. This will be the only place I take my kid from now on.

  We were blown away by the children’s hospital. They were so kind to our son who has special needs and dealt with him amazingly. All the doctors were calm, genuine and professional and were really impressed with how fast we were in and out.

  I had take her to a walk in clinic, just to make sure it all was out, which it was not. I unfortunately took her to another hospital first that refused to admit there was anything else in there, but I got in the car next morning and went to Mac.

  really enjoyed the crumpets they served on Halloween. my friend recently stayed in this hospital and she said your nuggets taste like bricks., but i am willing to put that all behind me because the courtyards smelled like home. i look forward to my next visit. recently, my little brothers friends cousins aunt had to take her dogs cousins owners kids to mcmaster and she said it was just amazing. the water was especially clean and she said the staff was also very kind. the kids received dirty Popsicles after their iv was dropped in the sink. the toilet wouldn't flush. but that's okay,, i had great soup on Friday.

  The staff from start to finish was absolutely amazing, and were not surprised at all by the fact that there was something up her nose and said they would help us do all they could to get it out, and they did not disappoint! They entertained my daughter with bubbles and a blow up dragon in the hallway, and they helped through various methods to extricate a cotton ball sized chunk of animal stuffing out of her nose!

  I have had to take me daughter to McMaster Children's Hospital a couple times over the last couple years, the most recent visit was this weekend as she had managed to stuff some stuffed animal stuffing up her nose which we had accidentally discovered when she sneezed some out.

  Audiology Department stuff are wonderful and organized as well as the doctors.

  who spoke to my daughter who was visibly in discomfort and made her laugh. She was triaged almost instantly by yet another very nice female nurse who was very gentle and reassuring to my daughter. While waiting to get in to the area where the doctor then sees patients there were many touch screen monitors with many options of games to play to pass the time. This area was very bright with outside light coming in and a very spacious cheerful atmosphere. Once in to see the doctor which was about a 15 min wait we were greeted by another nurse who got down to my daughter's level and explained to her everything that was going to take place. She then gave her an option of several activities to do, which she chose a board game. The wait to see the doctor took some time but we were checked on several times to be sure we were comfortable. Both resident and doctor were excellent and patient with her, as well as the kind nurse. They assessed the issue and found the problem quickly and had us scheduled with a specialist tomorrow!
