Short walk, lovely scenery and close to downtown. You can also walk, bike, skate, etc on the other path that is much longer and takes you to princess point. Or pop up to pier 8 easily for more walks and a park!

Lake was frozen. I walked on it. It was great! This place is great for walking, boating, canoeing, cycling and picnic

Went there with my wife during the winter and it was beautiful. A nice place two date and see the sunset. I can only imagine what it looks like during the summer.

Very nice park but there isn't much here. There are washroom facilities but they are only open during the summer. There are a few chess tables on the other end of the parking lot up the stairs from the washrooms. The rest of the park is a paved trail that loops around the whole park right up next to the water. Inside the trail there are some open fields with picnic tables set up and there is even a small gazebo. Right by the parking lot there is even a little sheltered area with picknick tables that overhangs the water. Personally I come here very often during the warmer months, in the winter this park is particularly cold since it's right on the water and it's often very windy.

Lovely park, so close to home. Paths are great for walking, running, biking and blading. Beautiful path to Princess Point and easy walking distance to Pier 4. Beware of the goose poop on the large grass area. It would be a great area for picnics and playing with the kids, but it's impossible not to get your shoes covered in poop walking in there.
