  Arrived to empty restaurant and told all food was put away and scolded by old lady behind counter. Seems reasonable there is no business.

  Good. Owner is on site, and will accommodate special requests. Excellent food quality. They have a brisk take - out business too, with many aluminum trays for families of all sizes. As is customary in Portuguese restaurants, payment is done on the way out, past the informal bar. If you liked the desserts, of which they have an assortment, you can pick another one to-go at the cash. Music is low and mellow. Visit done on a weekday, at lunch time. Dinner portions are double the size of lunch portions. You will not leave hungry either way.

  The picture below was the seafood platter #2, allegedly feeding 2. Two households more like! It included: halibut, snow crab, shrimp mussel clam shrimp mussel clam shrimp rice potatoes shrimp.

  Best bifana sandwiches in Hamilton hands down! Family run traditional European style service. My wife loves the grilled calimari and love those little cod fish rolls. Would go again and again!
