  My wife, daughter, son and I have been coming to this location for years. Even when we had to live in Oakville for a year we drove to this location because we loved the staff so much. We have been visiting this location spending a tremendous amount of money at least once a week over those years. Literally! We have recently moved back to Hamilton (thank God!) and now live close enough that we ride our bikes. I have had 2 VERY expensive bikes stolen this year and one of them in this plaza (walmart) so when I arrived today and pulled my bike inside the doors and actually made a point of asking if I could park it inside while I grabbed one thing, I didn't expect to be treated like a criminal! The young woman who decided to come tell me that this was a health and safety risk started barking at me from inside the doors. VERY unprofessional. When I went to speak for myself I was cut short by this rude individual, followed by her ignoring me completely with her back turned chatting with 2 other employees. This event is enough to spoil my opinion of this location and I will not return again. It's really too bad.

  Also, I haven't had any problem with any other store in this plaza when I've asked to park my bicycle inside the doors. Bike theft has become a HUGE problem here and in this city and most of the people who work down here understand that fully and have compassion. Not Michaels though it seems.

  Very difficult to find product. Not enough staff on the floor, although once I tracked a staff member down, she had an absolutely lovely personality and was very helpful.

  If you can get the right staff for what you're looking for they can be helpful. Usually very short on cashiers
