  Marcia was very responsive, ordering was simple and easy. Unfortunately the cake was not quite what I'd expected. I was told we would have a "sugared 50" topper, when I went to pick up my cake it was a wrinkly fondant 50, the top of the cake had cracks in it, and overall the cake looked a little unfinished, they had forgotten to put on gold flake but did add it last minute when I asked where it was. For over $300 to serve 30 people, I just expected more. Upon serving, myself and my guests found the cake a bit dry, though the flavours were good. I was told by the desk person it was a busy weekend for weddings and that's probably why some of my details were missed. The store is beautiful, I purchased some caramels while waiting for my cake and they were delicious.

  Genuinely, these are the best cupcakes and macarons. $2 Thursdays make Thursday the best day of the week and the cinnamon heart macarons in February cannot be beat.

  Very quick and easy to put in an order. We ordered our wedding cake in about 5 mins and the final product was just perfect. The cake design was on point, and tasted great. I would order again without a doubt!

  The Dessert Room, a chic, upscale "pastry boutique" with wedding cake displays in the window and an exterior that is more reminiscent of a spa than a patisserie. In fact, all signs look like it is limited to custom cake and pastry orders, but they do sell a smaller selection of individual cakes and macarons for the casual purchaser as well. In keeping with the overall appearance, items are on the pricey side. -- "Mimi's Cake Tour"
