  When I needed help with a loan to consolidate this bank said I had great credit and all my percentages added up perfectly. I never missed a payment on anything. So because of a terrible situation that happened in my family and some financial difficulty I decided instead of hurting my credit I would ask for a consolidation. They turned me down flat and then said my credit was now tarnish because they did a credit check on me. So no other bank will help me now. This was in March 2016

  I have been a loyal customer since August 2014, but when my school withdraw the $1400 charges owed. BY mistake I did not have enough credit. Unfortunately, the bank have been fined me $ 48. Then I solved that issue with my school . I have spoken with customer service in my branch but they were not cooperative and refused to return my $48 to my bank account.

  Now July 2016, I go on holiday, while my daughter is working out of town. TD decided that my bank card is compromised. I am in a small town in the middle of nowhere with only an ATM. No money for gas and my daughter calls to say she needs money. So I go on my phone and try to wire her money. It won't work. I go to the ATM to get money it won't work. I call the bank and say my card doesn't work. They say they can't help me, I have to come to the branch. I told them I couldn't get there, I was on vacation and my daughter needed emergency money and they said WE CANT HELP YOU. I was stranded in the middle of nowhere because the TD Canada Trust was worried they may have to pay me back a few dollars if someone else was using my card. They didn't care what was happening to me or my daughter. I had no gas or food money. My daughter didn't get her prescriptions and ended up in the Hospital. They are a money hungry bunch of bully’s and I am taking my business somewhere else. I am sure my post won’t be up long. God forbid they have bad publicity. But this will go virile on the social media. I am sick of the little people be stepped on.

  Worst experience I've ever had at a bank. Bought a new home, sold my old one, bridged for a month. They screwed up every aspect of it and made it incredibly painful. I really can't describe to you how much these people don't seem to care. They could screw up jello. Do yourself a favour and get a mortgage specialist or just go to another bank.

  Okay so granted I've had my issues with TD as a corporation; they are terrible money lenders and I would always recommend using someone else if you need a line of credit or loan. But THIS branch is AMAZING; the employees are all cheerful, quick, and knowledgeable. I have used many branches since moving to Hamilton 6 years ago and this is by far my branch of choice; these employees need more recognition for what THEY do and less harsh marks because of things beyond their control (remember the teller has nothing to do with how your account is managed; that's up to you. They have no control over how VISA regulates your cards; that's between you and VISA. When you call about an issue you are talking to a National Call center not this branch!)
