  One of my favorite breakfast spots. Their menu is not too varied but there's always something delicious with a twist on the menu for most if not all people. Their coffee is great, but their espresso drinks are phenomenal! Without a doubt the best cappuccino I've had.

  Nice cafe with indoor and patio seating. Food menu has good selection. The sandwich orders come with either salad, fries or soup. The soup of the day was hot and sour cabbage soup, which was very tasty with lots of cabbage. The chai latte was good as well. Service was a bit slow due to a limited number of working staff trying to serve a full house. Nonetheless, this cafe is a nice place to chill if it's not too busy.

  A great place to hang out and enjoy a nice cup of coffee. The staff was friendly and energetic. Me and my girlfriend love there deserts they're delicious. I'd recommend there carrot cake. Also they have a really cosy patio set up! 2 thumbs up here

  The place gets very busy on weekends mornings into the afternoon, so come with a very small party or go early.

  This was such a delightful detour for us! The cafe was located on Dundas' main street making the outdoor bench and front bar stools prime for people watching. The huge windows in the cafe made it bright and cheery, while wood and industrial accents added to the charm. The coffee was delicious, bold, and perfectly brewed. The avocado toast came on a delicious rustic bread and was so plentiful! I hate when places skimp on avocado, but I can confirm that detour is not one of those places. The egg was nicely poached and added some good protein while the pickled onion and lime added zing. I was way too full to try to the desserts but they looked great so I'll be sure to leave space next time. We'll definitely be back when it's warm enough to check out their huge patio.
