  It had been years since I would even venture into a dental office and the thought of doing so was terrifying and yes ... humiliating. But from the moment I met Dr. Chithalen and his staff, I was treated with respect and compassion. After some (what I consider to be major extractions) Dr. Chithalen took the time to call me at home that evening to see how I was doing. Since that time, any issues that have come up are addressed immediately. Not only was my anxiety dealt with, but for the first time in years I am so proud of my smile . . .

  My son had to have a tooth (molar) pulled due to it rotting and becoming infected. The tooth was extracted and he then had to be fitted by molding for a bracket to keep his other teeth from possibly shifting into the now empty spot. We were never informed there were restrictions as to what he should or shouldn't eat, and as both my husband nor myself have had anything like that installed we wouldn't know any differently.The bracket was installed not even 6 months ago, and fell out just last week. My husband is self employed, and we do not have insurance which they are aware of...therefore we pay out of pocket for every visit. The bracket/spacer was just put back in. Not only did they charge us for cementing it back into our sons mouth, they charged us an exam fee as well. When we asked why we were charged when the work was done so recently they insinuated it was our fault for allowing our 7 year old son to eat sticky candy, which we should know not to give him with a mouth apparatus like his. (We rarely ever give him candy, this was a treat for him) We were never told nor given any information when it was installed. In addition we were told "according to the book" anything past 30 days installed you must pay for. What book? If so once again why are we not given any necessary information...We are incredibly disappointed. Anyone reading these reviews, ask lots of questions! No information was given, and charges that were not explained for/well enough. We have been patients for about a year. Going forward we will definitely make sure to ask lots of questions, and for estimates before work is done. I recommend the same to anyone who has limited insurance or no insurance at all.

  Extremely disappointed with this place! Watch out because they are money grabbers! They knew the exams weren't covered by the insurance, and they let me do the exams, at the end they said "sorry it's not covered" they had time to tell me because when I went she took my insurance card at 8:40am then I had a cleaning before the exams which gave them ample time to notify before the exams were done, but they didn't care to notify me before I did the exams. Then at 10:45 they handed my insurance card and a bill for over $400 these people have no heart they are all for the money. When I complained I was told "you can go somewhere else" this is how they operate, they told me that I had to do "first time patients exams" before cleaning even though I had no mouth issues just needed a cleaning, but they just wanted to make as much money as they could then dump me a like garbage and moved on! Beware people don't be fooled! Make sure you call your insurance yourself before you sit in that chair! They took my insurance card as if they will check and notify me. But they knowing let me do those exams that weren't covered They kept their mouths shut and at the end they say " the service was already booked we couldn't get someone else to filled that appointment so you have to pay even if it's not covered under your plan"that is so unfair! I never knew people could be so selfish but I am warning anyone who might get fooled my the other reviews like I did...
