  Sheryl Maciel helped me sell my first home and buy another. She was thorough and always available when I needed her. I met her first about a year before at an open house and I told her that I was preparing myself for a move but wouldn't be ready for a long time. She called me almost every month and left a message just following up in case I was ready to sell and/or buy. She was not pushy at all, just friendly, and that's why I called her when I was ready to move.

  The private sale route may work but at the end of it you may have sold your house for too little and went through a lot of frustration. The private sale route does not work as you cannot reach the true buyers that are out there. The private sale companies tell you that your house is on MLS...... yeah, in Toronto. Well, The people in your market don't see it.

  Laura Bielak and I spoke a while back about my interest in buying an investment property to renovate.If anyone has had experience in Hamilton's market knows how hard it is to buy something without being in a multiple offer situation.This makes it diffcult to buy anything at a competitive price.Last Sunday morning Laura called me to view a property in the beautiful Hamilton Rosedale area -by Sunday afternoon we purchased a gorgeous investment property.
